Terms of use
The terms for using FamilyStatus, a family coordination service developed and operated by ExecIQ Ltd, during early access.
Last updated: 15 September 2026
About FamilyStatus and these terms
FamilyStatus is a family coordination service developed and operated by ExecIQ Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17320975), registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. FamilyStatus is a product, not a separate company. “We”, “us” and “our” mean ExecIQ Ltd.
These terms apply when you use the FamilyStatus application at familystatus.app or this website. By using FamilyStatus you agree to them. Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information.
FamilyStatus is at an early stage. Access is currently limited and provided by arrangement or invitation; it is not open for general sign-up.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details secure and don’t share them. Tell us promptly at info@execiq.uk if you think someone else has used your account.
- Give accurate information when your account is set up and when you add information to FamilyStatus.
- Only add or manage information about other people — including family members and children — where you have an appropriate reason and the authority to do so.
Children
FamilyStatus can give children their own accounts. A child’s access is intentionally more limited than an adult’s: children can see what is relevant to them but do not administer the household.
Adults in a household are responsible for deciding whether a child should have access and for keeping that access appropriate. These terms are agreed by the adults who arrange a household’s use of FamilyStatus.
Family information and your responsibility
FamilyStatus helps families coordinate, but it cannot know everything happening in family life. You remain responsible for checking important information and arrangements — especially those involving children’s care, collection or safety.
FamilyStatus is not an emergency, medical, safeguarding or legal service, and should not be relied on as one. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
Information you add stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide FamilyStatus to you and your household.
Information from schools, activities and calendars
FamilyStatus can help interpret and surface information from schools, clubs, activities and calendars. That information comes from third parties and can be incomplete, delayed, changed or wrong, and we can’t guarantee it.
FamilyStatus presents this information for review rather than silently treating it as correct: it doesn’t change your family’s plans until somebody in your household accepts it. Please check it before relying on it.
Availability and early access
- FamilyStatus is still being developed, and its features may change, be added or be removed.
- There may be temporary interruptions while we maintain or improve the service.
- Early-access features are provided so families can try them, and may not continue in the same form. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use FamilyStatus for anything unlawful;
- try to gain unauthorised access to FamilyStatus, to another person’s account or to another household’s information;
- interfere with, disrupt or overload the service;
- misuse another person’s or family’s information;
- use automated or malicious tools, such as scrapers or bots, against the service.
Intellectual property
FamilyStatus — its software, design, name, logo and materials — belongs to ExecIQ Ltd, apart from third-party material and the information you and your household add. We do not own your family’s information. These terms let you use FamilyStatus as intended but don’t give you other rights in it.
Our responsibility to you
We will provide FamilyStatus with reasonable care and skill. If we don’t, and you suffer loss that was a foreseeable result of that, we are responsible for it.
We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for decisions made in reliance on third-party information that FamilyStatus has shown for review. FamilyStatus is provided for personal and family use, and we are not responsible for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Suspending or ending access
We may suspend or restrict access where it is reasonably necessary to protect the security of FamilyStatus or the people who use it, to deal with misuse or a breach of these terms, or for operational reasons. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why.
You can stop using FamilyStatus at any time and ask us at info@execiq.uk to close your account. The privacy notice explains what happens to your information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as FamilyStatus develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If we make significant changes, we will tell people using FamilyStatus before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
